I can't tell you how many moms I've heard say they would love to go back to work but they're afraid. 

Afraid of what?  Change alone is scary, especially if your family/household depends heavily on you.  Many moms are worried about managing a new schedule, handling the double duties of work and home, the loss of flexibility, lack of skills and so much more.
